Game Improvements
February 14, 2024Hey StarFam! This week, instead of releasing new gameplay, we’re releasing several improvements to enhance your gaming experience.
”E” Key to the rescue!
No more rummaging through your backpack! It can be super annoying when you’ve been running all over Jorvik to fetch things, then you have to stop, look through your backpack’s inventory, and drag out the correct item for a quest. Now you can simply press “E” to interact with things that require a quest item from your inventory. Great news if you keep your backpack as disorganized as we do. But hey, if you don’t mind the extra work, drag and drop is still and option!
Add a little…spice
We know how hard you work racing and leveling up your horses. We think that deserves a little more fanfare, don’t you? The animations after completing a race have a gotten a glow up so you get the celebration you deserve!
Daily Race Restrictions Begone!
Speaking of racing, how would you like to race in your own time without any daily restrictions? On several races, we removed the cap on Horse XP and Jorvik Shilling per day. Level up your horses on your own time! The races and locations are:

The Manor's Riding Track
Windmill
Windmill Race
Firgrove
Daily Training: Minka's Tricky Timber Track
Daily Training: Minka's Tricky Timber Track (Reverse)

We have marked these races with a purple exclamation mark to distinguish them from our usual daily races!
Long loading bars are so out!
We get it, watching a loading bar is like watching paint dry. So, we’ve made some changes to any quest or quest items that have a loading bar that takes longer than 10 seconds. Instead of looking at the loading bar, you will be placed in a cutscene and asked to wait.
Heads up!
Changes like these might require adjustment and balancing after release. This is to ensure the best player experience, and avoid exploitations. We’ll do our best to communicate any changes , either on our channels or in our bug fix log found on our website.
