New and improved horse care!

Hi StarFam! Today we are rolling out some updates to your horse care!

What’s changing?

We gave the horse care features some extra love so you can give your horses extra love! To save you some precious time, you can now care for your horses anywhere! Gone are the days of trekking to designated areas just to complete daily care. In addition, you won’t need to drag and drop when you use your horse care items. Just dismount, click on your horse's head, and the horse care menu will appear. Simply click on each item and – TADA – all done! You and your horse will be back to adventuring and race training in no time.

The smilies depicting horse happiness will also be removed. Instead, you will see a progress bar that more clearly depicts your horse's current mood. Click on the progress bar to get a better idea of how your horse’s mood is affecting its performance.

What else can I expect?

The horse care items and food have also gotten a glow up! They will look a little different when you use them. Your horse will be so delighted when care is complete, it might even treat you to a happy dance!

For those who want a demonstration, you will now be able to redo the horse care tutorial. You will be invited to take part after your next login and as long as you have completed the second quest in game.

Pandoria portal update

Any horse can now go through the portals to Pandoria! Meaning your starter horses can get a break from the mysterious Pandoric energy. Keep in mind that certain quests may still ask for the starter horse.

Valentine’s shops!

We are preparing some new and exciting content this year instead of the Valentine’s event. We’re still bringing a little Valentine’s magic to Jorvik in the form of Valentine’s-themed shops. Make sure to take a peek at everything they offer – including the pretty, pink bows for your horse! The shops will be open until February 24th.

A few more fallen stars

Drawn to its magic, stars often fall onto Jorvik, settling into the obscure corners of the island. You may have stumbled across these hidden stars on your Jorvik journeys, which are then collected and logged in your journal. For the explorers seeking to complete their collection, freshly fallen stars were recently spotted in Wildwoods. Find your journal in the horseshoe menu to track your progress. Happy hunting!
