Fun and games at Starshine Ranch!

Hey StarFam! Last week we welcomed the beautiful Starshine Ranch to Jorvik, and this week we’re gonna spend even more time in our latest area!

If you are new to Star Stable - Howdy! Get on your horse and join us on a journey to the wild Wild West! Look for the wagon in Moorland to get there. Can’t wait to see you!

Mounted games!

Giddy up, time to play! Three super fun races are now available at the Starshine Ranch paddock!

You can play the lap racing, pole bending, and barrel racing alone - or with an opponent! If you decide to play with an opponent, you will meet either Beatriz from the Bobcats, Scott Buttergood, or even the pro Josh himself! These races will let you do some extra fast turns in comparison to other races, so you’ll need some practice in order to be able to beat Josh!

Another brand new feature you’ll find when you play these games is the possibility to decide if you want to play one of them or all of them at once! When you click the scoreboard to start racing, you can use the checkboxes to decide which races you want to play, and then you’ll start the upcoming race automatically as you finish the previous one. How handy is that?

You can play the lap racing, pole bending, and barrel racing as many times as you want every day, but just as with regular races, you will only get Jorvik Shillings and XP for your horse the first time you play it each day. You’ll even get a small Jorvik Shilling boost if you decide to play alongside one of the opponents......

Animal herding

Some of you might already know Mary! She just moved to Starshine Ranch, and she needs your help to find some of her animals, who tend to wander off quite often…

Mary hasn’t only lost her lamb, but other animals too!

Every day, four animals will need your help to find their way back to Mary. These include:

★ Sheep
★ Cows
★ Donkeys
★ Foals
★ Chickens

The animals all have different ideas on how to get home, so some will follow you, some will require you to herd them and some… well, might be hungry.

When you’ve talked to Mary, you will be able to find four animals outside of the bounds of the ranch every day. They’re in need of your help! They will all sport the blue exclamation mark of a daily quest over their heads, but you will not see them in your quest log! Make sure to bring them safely back to Mary to get some well-earned XP for your horse.

The normal amount of Jorvik Shillings Mary can offer for helping her find her animals is 30 Jorvik Shillings, but for one month only she is able to offer you 90 Jorvik Shillings! This is an excellent opportunity to make some extra pocket money!
