New things on the move!

Hey StarFam! We have some exciting but important stuff to talk about today!

In yesterday’s update, we increased the reputation you gain in daily quests with the Kallters in Dino Valley. This makes it even faster than before to finish your reputation grinding with Sedna and Nonak to get yourself a cuddly Fjord horse.

The reason for the increased reputation is for you guys to be able to get one of these classic Fjords before they, along with the Kallters, leave Jorvik on October 10th. That means that after the Wednesday update on October 10th, these horses will not be available for purchase anymore but the horses you have already purchased will remain.

While this might be a bit sad, there’s a good reason behind it! As we move forward with new content and features, older content in the game may need to be removed. Replacing horses means that we can focus on new styles of tack or even new horse features that simply will not work correctly with older models. With each passing year some content becomes more outdated and we feel it no longer represents the best of what Star Stable can offer.

And as you might be able to guess – this of course means we have an updated Fjord horse in the making! We’re still in the middle of production, so there will be some time until the horse is ready to be released.

So why are the Kallters leaving along with the Fjord horses? We’re not exactly sure at this point, but rumor has it something strange is going on in the Valley of the Hidden Dinosaur...

Here’s some good-to-know info:
★ Will the Fjord horse I’ve previously purchased disappear from the game?
No, if you have bought a Fjord horse there will be no changes to it and you can ride it just as you always have.

★ Will the Fjord horse I’ve previously purchased be changed into the new Fjord?
Just as we mentioned above, no changes will be made to your horse, so that’s a no!

★ Will the classic Fjord Horses be available at the Horse Market?
No, after October 10 the horse will not be available for purchase.

★ Does this mean other horses will be leaving the game too?
There might come a time when that will happen, but we can not say anything for sure right now. Horses that you already have purchased will of course not be removed from your stable and you will still be able to ride it at any time.

We’ll continue to remind you about the older Fjords up until October 10th (when they will leave the game) so you will have a chance to get one (or several) of them if you’d like!
