The Equestrian Festival

The race tracks are ready, and the dancefloor is warmed up. We are celebrating the Jorvegian spirit with a festival like no other! We have prepared races, dressage, showjumping, quests, quizzes, giveaways, new horse coat variations, and so much more to do for an entire month. It's about cheering for your teammates and spreading good vibes over Jorvik. The festival will be here for four, fun-filled weeks. It will end during the Wednesday update on May 4th. But don’t worry, it will return next year!

Moorland Festival Grounds

The main festival grounds are in Moorland. Look for Linda outside your Home Stable, or talk to Tan at the Festival Grounds outside Moorland Stables to get involved! From the festival grounds you will find quick transport to Championships. Just approach Julie next to the Championship board. Not only will you get to show off your hard-earned skills, but Championships now permanently reward horse XP (yes, even after the festival ends)! Be sure to grab the daily quests to earn additional XP and Spring Tokens. You can exchange these tokens for exclusive prizes, like the adorable bunny pet, and a dressage set with a new dressage saddle and blanket!

What else can be found in the Moorland festival grounds?

★ There’s finally a new race in Moorland! This Festival Race rewards you with a ton of XP. You won’t want to miss it!

Do you know how many races you all have completed since the launch of Star Stable Online? Head to the festival ground in Moorland and accept the special quiz quest to celebrate a very special milestone. A gift awaits you if you get it right!

Festival coat variations

For the duration of the festival, 6 lovely horses will be available to purchase in Moorland! You might recognize these coat variations from our past Open House events!

★ Three, grey Generation 2 Lipizzaner horses are available for 475 Star Coins each! They are discounted because it’s the last time they will be available! After the Equestrian Festival, they will be heading to greener pastures to enjoy retirement. When riding a Lipizzaner and pressing spacebar while the horse is standing still, it will perform the movement Levade! #LipiLife
★ The Generation 3 Lusitano is available in the colors fleabitten grey and liver chestnut, and go for 949 Star Coins each. When riding a Lusitano and pressing spacebar while the horse is standing still, it will perform the movement Piaffe! #LovelyLusitanos
★ The Generation 3 buckskin Andalusian will be yours for 950 Star Coins. When riding an Andalusian and pressing spacebar while the horse is standing still, it will perform the movement, Spanish Walk! #PureSpanishMagic

The Jorvik Stables Open House

The Jorvik Stables Open House is back and better than ever! As part of the Equestrian Festival, this Open House will be exclusive to Star Riders. Use the fast transport between the festival grounds in Moorland and Jorvik Stables so you don’t waste a second of the festivities. Take a tour of the stables with Luciana to get yourself acquainted with the event. Two races return to test your equestrian skills, one cross country and one show jumping. Plus, visit Andy’s petting zoo and the huuuge dressage arena with new kür music. Keep in mind the music won’t start playing until you’ve been in the arena for 15 seconds.

The Generation 3 black rabicano Arabian is back at Jorvik Stables! It will be yours for 950 Star Coins. When riding an Arabian and pressing spacebar while the horse is standing still, it will gracefully rear up and walk on its hind legs. This Arabian also sports a lovely, flowy tail characteristic of the breed! Even if you decide to change the mane style of your Arabian, it will keep its unique tail. #AwesomeArabians

The Jorvik Stables Open house is exclusive to Star Riders!

New English Thoroughbred

A brand-new coat variation makes its debut at the Open House! This English Thoroughbred will be yours for 850 Star Coins and is only here for the remainder of the festival. #EnglishThoroughBoss

What are Star Stable festivals?

Over the last year or so, we have focused on growing our design team and reconsidering what festivals should look like in Star Stable. We want every season (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter) to have one Primary Festival that lasts 4-6 weeks. In addition to tons of seasonally themed activities, collectible items, and rare rewards, we are also looking to use our Primary Festivals to tell some big stories! In order to make these new festivals as awesome as possible, the smaller Fortuna Festival, Valentine’s Day, Easter, and April Fools Day will sadly not be returning. We know that this will disappoint some, and for that reason, we would love to hear what your favorite parts of these events were, so we can bring that into future events! #SSOPartyPlanning

Horse Bonding

Some of our very talented team members have been working on something called “The Horse Bonding Initiative”! This is meant to ensure that each new horse feels like the start of an exciting journey, and the team has lots of ideas for how we can help players express and explore their horses’ personalities. As a start, we rolled out Age and Gender customization. Starting today, half of our players will see the new Horse Purchasing Window for horses sold at the festival! This is randomized and does not depend on your server or country. We’d love to hear what you think of the new Horse Purchasing Window before we roll this feature out permanently!

The Bonus Shop

A new item is available in the Moorland Bonus Shop to all of you who became Star Rider by one-time payment! The Admiral’s Dressage Boots are inspired by the uniform of the last Jorvegian Admiral!
