Discounts and frozen fun!

Hey StarFam! Colder weather has brought an icy change of scenery, making the magic of the Northern Lights look even more special. Now is your chance to explore Jorvik in a completely new way!

Discounts!

This is not a drill! The Akhal-Teke and Marwari horse will be discounted for the remainder of our winter festival. The third generation Akhal-Teke is now 553 Star Coins and the third generation Marwari is now 760 Star Coins!These discounts are valid until the Wednesday update on January 12th. This does not apply to horses purchased in the Star Stable Horses app.

Horses of Jorvik

Guillermo Gadea couldn’t resist the charm of our winter festival, so he’s bringing back the show jumping race for Horses of Jorvik! You can race with your Akhal-Teke, Marwari, Arabian, Kampos, Tellina, Shadowshield or Snowdancer. If you enter the race on any other type of horse, you will kindly be asked to return with another (and, ahem, did we say something about a discount?).

Silverglade Equestrian Center Paddock

★ How do I get started?
Head over and introduce yourself to Guillermo Gadea.

★ What is the reward?
500 Horse XP!

★ How long will it be here?
The entire winter festival! Then Gullermo will be packing up and leaving during the Wednesday update on January 12th.

★ Are there any race requirements?
You must be a Star Rider and own any of the horse breeds mentioned.

Slip, slide and glide through the Easy Freezy Race

This slippery race will have you sliding down the frozen Silversong River! To find it, introduce yourself to Flipper and Flapper the penguins. Flipper usually hangs around the frozen waterfall at Valedale and will get you started, while Flapper will be there to greet you at the end. Just watch out for obstacles along your way. You don’t want to trample over Flipper and Flapper’s friends!

What’s new in the Winter Village?

The Arctic Fox Preservation Team

Get to know the Arctic Fox Preservation Team—a group devoted to ensuring these wild animals can grow and live protected from any danger. The Arctic Fox Protector in the Winter Village will get you started!

Penguin Race

There is one more icy race to be explored! This one takes you around the frozen lake in the Winter Village!

Paddock Props

The Winter Village Paddock has three winter-themed show jumping courses. Choose your favorite or try them all!

Remember, to get to the Winter Village you can take any of the sleighs found around Jorvik!

We needed to make some space on Steve’s farm so a few horses have moved to Lower Paddock Island.
