Hey StarFam! We are so excited to announce the release of the Generation 3 Arabian!

The new and improved Arabian

From the glossy sheen of its coat to the iconic slope of its face, the sight of an Arabian horse is sure to amaze. They are one of the most renowned and striking horse breeds in the world, with a distinct history and origins. Now they look even more striking with a Generation 3 update!

Did you know? Bred for endurance in harsh desert climates, the Arabian is small, almost dainty, in structure with a distinctive head and high-set tail. Modern-day Arabians can be found across the world and excel in a variety of disciplines, such as racing and show jumping. They are particularly good at competitive trail and endurance riding due to their superior stamina. This makes them perfect companions to take you on adventures across Jorvik!

★ What's the new breed?
The Generation 3 Arabian Horse!

★ Where can I get it?
Six of the Arabians are now at Goldspurs Farm! The black Arabian will stay permanently at Fort Pinta.

★ How much does it cost?
950 Star Coins.

★ What level do I have to be?
Anyone will be able to get the horse in Fort Pinta right away! To get the other variations, you must have reached level 7.

★ What colors can I choose from?
There are seven gorgeous coat colors for you to choose from: Grey, Black, Bay, Palomino, Dappled Grey, Liver Chestnut, and Chestnut Rabicano.

★ Is there anything else I should know?
The Gen 3 Arabians all sport a lovely, flowy tail characteristic of the breed! Even if you decide to change the mane style of your Arabian, it will keep its unique tail. They also have a special move! Click the spacebar while the Arabian is standing still to witness it gracefully rear up and walk on its hind legs. Also...

New show halters for your Arabian!

A set of halters are now available specifically for the new Arabians! These halters include a permanent lead rope and are available in three beautiful colors. Find them at Global Store and Goldspurs Shop.

For now, these halters and lead ropes are exclusive to the Generation 3 Arabian.

Why do these halters have a lead rope while the others do not?

We currently aren’t able to detach a lead rope from a halter, nor can we detach reins from a bridle. The lead rope on the Arabian halter is not removable. Our other halters on the contrary, do not have lead ropes at all. Do you appreciate the constant lead rope, or do you prefer the option without the lead rope? Make sure to reach out and tell us!

More horse names!

Some of you already got a sneak peek of this update when the new horse names went live a few weeks early. Now the new names are available in every language! We added more than 200 prefixes and more than 300 suffixes to choose from when you name your horse! You can even choose to have a blank space as one of the options if you want a shorter name. That makes for a whopping total of over 200,000 unique name combinations!

Magic coat improvements

We added more improvements to the magic coat toggle! You can still change your magical horse’s coat in the character sheet, but we made it even easier for you! Press the ‘H’ key to easily switch between your horse’s magic coat and normal coat. Keep in mind there will be a 5-second delay and cool down so you don’t stress out your horse. You also won’t be able to use this function during races, ensuring your horse is focused on winning instead!

Your magic horse will now display its magic coat upon login. Now you can witness your magic horse in all their glory as soon as you enter the game!
