Hey, Starfam! We know you’ve been missing a certain championship. Finally it’s back and better than ever!
The New Valedale Championship!
Prepare for an adrenaline-fueled adventure as you dash through the terrain of Hollow Woods! Make your way to the new Valedale Championship hub nestled next to Valedale Village, where Rory, an avid racing connoisseur, stands ready to onboard you with the ins-and-outs of this revamped Championship
Once you’ve onboarded, wait for the next Championship time and compete in an epic ride through nature. Encounter all the elements, wild critters, and more! Can you brave the storm and come out on top?
After your onboarding with Rory, you'll also unlock the Reputation faction, ”Valedale Championship''. Your reputation increases every time you compete! Show your Valedale spirit with two new sets, one of which will be unlocked after earning reputation. Only the most dedicated competitors will be able to sport this new look.
The race isn’t the only new thing around. Valedale is now your one stop shop for everything: storage, vet care, consumables, and more!
Quality of Life Updates
We’re guessing no one wants to wait to continue on their Jorvegian adventures, so we’re slowly removing the “stay overnight” feature. You won’t need to pay a Star Coin fee or wait a day to continue playing time-locked quests. We will update quests in batches!
And speaking of waiting, the loading bar now has a mini-game feature. Press the spacebar at the right time, and you win the game, instantly loading your quest’s next step!
Mobile players now get prompted to choose which control they want to use for their game, buttons or joystick. This will pop up for new players when learning how to ride their horse. This choice is then saved between sessions, but can be changed in the settings menu later!
The horse purchasing window got a visual upgrade to make it easier to see every horse's beautiful coat colors.
Horses on the Move!
It's the end of an era! Several horses are moving from Fort Pinta to Moorland, where they’ll be easier for new players to find their next beloved companion. Every new horse going forward will have one coat available in Moorland, instead of in Fort Pinta.
This spot isn’t permanent! We’re working on building these horses an even better home in Moorland, but can’t say when the construction will be complete.
Meanwhile, the Jorvik Ponies and Halfingers have taken advantage of the move and made a home in Fort Pinta.

A new bonus shop item is available to all of you who became Star Rider by one-time payment!
