Hey StarFam! We are so excited to announce the release of the Generation 3 Friesian Horse!

The new and improved Friesian!

Yes, you heard us right, our beloved Jorvik Friesian has gotten a makeover! This breed is a longtime favorite - so we thought it was high time for a revamp. The updated Friesians are a more traditional, baroque type. Plus we can’t get enough of their stunning manes!

Did you know? The Friesian Horse gets its name from the province of Friesland in the Netherlands and dates all the way back to the Middle Ages! They were prized for being graceful and nimble, while still able to carry riders with heavy armor. They are usually distinctive due to their black coats, but our Jorvik Friesian’s are unique and have been bred to come in even more pretty colors!

Which Friesian is your favorite?

★ What's the new breed?
The Generation 3 Friesian Horse!

★ Where can I get it?
You can find the new Friesians at Jorvik Stables and in the Winter Village! When winter is over, the Winter Village horse will move to Jorvik Stables.

★ How much does it cost?
950 Star Coins.

★ What level do I have to be?
You will be able to get the horse in the Winter Village as soon as you are able to reach the location! To get the other variations, you must have reached level 8.

★ What colors can I choose from?
Classic Black, Fire Chestnut and Leopard!

★ Is there anything else I should know?
These Friesians have a gorgeous, long mane! You can leave it loose and flowing or choose to have it braided. They also have a special move - the canter pirouette! Click the spacebar while the Friesian is standing still to witness this graceful spin. Lastly, the Jorvik Friesian’s thick coat makes it resistant to the harsh cold of Dino Valley! Also...

New Friesian, New Bridles!

We have three new bridles available for the Friesian—medieval bridles to be exact!
★ The hackamore is a fancy bitless bridle
★ The horned bridle is perfect for any fantasy fan
★ The medieval bridle will make your horse look like it belongs to royalty

These new bridles are available in two colors each, and can be found at the Global Store as well as a shop in Jarlaheim.

For now, these bridles are exclusive to the Generation 3 Friesian Horse. We hope to be able to offer these bridles for more horse breeds in the future.

Updated Moorland Races

3 Moorland races are getting a touch-up—Loretta’s Race (Wild Bobcat Track), Tan’s Race (Bobcats Basic Track), and Sophia’s Race (Bobcats Elite Track). You can still reach the same high scores, but with a few new additions!

★ New music to inspire and encourage speed
★ New props and obstacles to keep you on your toes
★ New props to block off roads that aren’t part of the race

New Prices for older generations of Jorvik Ponies and Friesians

The Jorvik Pony and Friesians now have 3 Generations, so it was time for a price update.

What are the prices?
★Generation 1 Friesians are now 300 Star Coins
★Generation 2 Friesians are now 500 Star Coins
★Generation 1 Jorvik Ponies are now 200 Star Coins

We heard your feedback regarding the Trakehner and have taken another look at the horse. Due to changes in the system, we couldn’t recover all of the animations it used to have. We hope you enjoy the new gaits we added! Now we think it has a very fancy trot that suits the breed. Let us know what you think!

Winter Fun

Don’t forget! We have another four weeks of winter! The winter event will be here until the Wednesday Update on January 13th. An extra tip for those buying seasonal clothes in the Winter Village...you now have storage access! Find the storage snowman next to the shops.
