Ready, set, train!

Hey, StarFam! This week the Bobcats are training hard, new halters have arrived, and the story snacks continue!

Train with the Bobcats

The Bobcats are prepping for an upcoming horse show! Stacy is keeping herself busy by offering riding classes to her fellow Bobcats, but Loretta seems to be upset. Maybe you can help her feel better?

Once you’ve helped the Bobcats, Stacy will let you practice higher jumps on the weekends! The Bobcats Difficult Show Jumping Circuit will only be available from Friday to Sunday, replacing the third race in her circuit. Then the original race will return Monday through Thursday. Meanwhile, be sure to check out the old, but new, race in Moorland. A few other races have also been updated with new props, terrain — and in one case, new bunnies!

You must have reached level 12, finished Stacy’s show jumping circuit, and finished talking to Loretta after her party for Tan.

Colorful Halters

We’ve made even more variations of our popular nylon halters! There are 6 additional colors to match with your favorite clothing and tack. Find them in the tack shop in Valedale and the Global Store.

Story snacks!

Since your last meeting with Mrs. Holdsworth, she’s uncovered even more information. She and Beatrix have found a mysterious letter. Check out what all the fuss is about by meeting them at the Fort Maria library.

You must be a Star Rider, have finished all the main story quests, and be up to date on story snacks to take part.

Player Character Update

The character update beta test has now closed -- thanks to all the participants! We received lots of valuable information which helps us develop the look and helps us fix any bugs and issues the testers encountered. We also saw lots of feedback on social media! Right now, we are taking in all we learned from the testers and from our community response. We are still in the stage of making the updated character work in the game. We will come back in the coming months with updates on what is coming next!

Magical Horse Rotation

This month, Faramawr and Aldrach return! These scaly horses sprung from gems found in the crater of Garnok’s Fury. Faramawr the Green embodies prosperity and life thriving after disaster, like the fertile soil and new islands formed in the wake of volcanic eruption. Aldrach the Red is the embodiment of nature's destructive but necessary forces, such as volcanic eruptions.

When in their normal form, Faramawr and Aldrach disguise themselves as Friesians! Find them with Gary Goldtooth at his usual camp in Moorland, and make one part of your family for 950 Star Coins each.

Accompanying these magical horses, are the wyvern pets Happandi and Kolandi. These magical companions can fly and would love to discover Jorvik by your side for an adoption fee of 400 SC each.

Faramawr and Aldrach, along with their pets, are available for four weeks. They will leave Jorvik during the Wednesday update on November 2nd.
